Many of our hubs have arranged for a tour of the local Fire Station, and local fire fighters are excited to show you around. Be sure to stay connected to your local Facebook community at DiscoverFamily.Fun OR the Discovery App (text 'family' to 888-403-4140).
Family Adventure
We love our local heroes and want them to know how much we appreciate them. They love serving the community! However, what they don't know is that WE LOVE serving THEM and have a surprise in store for them.
For this Adventure take some time to make a 'Thank You' card for a firefighter. It can be super simple-- just a piece of paper with a picture and a message. Or it can be as decorative and unique as you want to make it. Then be sure to check your local DiscoverFamily.Fun community and the App (text 'family' to 888-403-4140) to find out when the Fire Station tour in your local area is.
If you would like to bring a plate of cookies or other treat for the firefighters when you come, along with your homemade cards, feel free to do so. However, these items are NOT required!
